Welcome to Rome! Upon arriving in Rome, we explore the Coliseum and venture to Vatican City, marveling at St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. Bold Earth explores Rome by foot, experiencing the culture through the food, the museums and the incredible plazas. With roots dating back more than 2000 years, Rome is one of the world’s greatest cities and the perfect place to begin our amazing two weeks together on an Italy teen tour.

AMALFI COAST: Water Sports & Hike

Traveling south to Italy’s famed, Amalfi Coast, we enjoy the picturesque scenery with hikes and beach time. The highlight is “Walk of the Gods,” a spectacular hike along cliffs of Italy’s Amalfi Coast with incredible views of the coast. After our magnificent hike, we soak in the culture of Positano, a quaint village famous for its beaches, medieval architecture and steep streets.

FLORENCE: Culture, Food & More

We travel by train to Florence, a beautiful way to see the Italian countryside. Arriving in Florence, we visit some of Italy’s most important cultural and historic sites. We are sure to visit the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, the “David”, Ponte Vecchio and the San Lorenzo market. Campers leave Florence inspired, having seen all of the main sights and eaten lots of gelato.

VENICE: Canals & Gondolas

Continuing north by train, we travel to Venice, a city of 118 small islands connected by canals and bridges. Founded in the 10th century BC, Venice is a world heritage site. Considered by many to be the most beautiful city on earth, we spend our days traveling through Venice on gondolas and on water buses. Together, we explore Venice’s most famous sights while also experiencing the authentic side of Venice. A photographer’s dream location – Venice entices all who visit.
